About the teacher

My name is Christina Hunt and I am thrilled to be this year's 3rd and 4th-grade science teacher. This year I will be going into my twelfth year of teaching at Palmetto Elementary School. I currently live in Liberty, SC with my husband and three daughters who attend school at Palmetto. When I am not at school I love to craft, read, and explore nature. I love animals and critters of all kinds. 

I love teaching 3rd and 4th grade, but my favorite thing to teach is science. I feel like science is best taught through hands-on investigative instruction.  We will do a lot of scientific investigations and engineering design projects. Learning is an adventure and I can not wait for class to begin!
